Fix it Felix.
This post is purely to show you how I plan to decorate my bedroom in my new house, I can't decorate it yet because well I haven't moved yet.
I plan to have everything finished and decorated by after Christmas 2017.
The past few months I have been searching the internet, Pinterest and of course YouTube to show me new cheap easy ways to create a good end result and I am really happy with things I've found.
Here are the DIY/ YouTube tutorial and furniture pieces that I've decided will definitely be a part of my new room.
1. New bed. My bed right now does nothing for my room; a bed is obviously meant to be the best feature of a room and right now mine is not. I have a few ideas as to what I want and beds are expensive but if there was anything I would splurge on it would be a good bed - because sleep matters.
As you can see by these three options I have, i'm looking for a light wood/ pine coloured bed preferably with storage. My favourite of the three being the John Lewis Super Storage Bed Frame; it is ideal for the space that I'll have, you have the added storage with both the ottoman style as well as the shelved sides. But as wonderful as it is, it is the most expensive of the three - so of course that would be the one I want. Sigh.
Moving on.
2. I have an extreme love for exposed brick walls. And went on a hunt for realistic looking wallpaper. What I found was better than I ever imagined. Foam 3D DIY Wall Stickers. This is something that I am 100% buying is gives a feel of realism and luxury for a low price. So imagine that bed in front of this wall.
3. Marble. I have seen marble everywhere and love the classy, polished feel it gives a room. I have watched 20+ YouTube videos on different ways to use this paper and how easy it is to use, I need to give this a try.
I was always going to buy this laptop table from Ikea and to see how easy it is to modify it is awesome. I have to give props to Sylvia and Samantha (http://www.sylandsam.com/2015/02/tutorial-faux-marble-table-diy.html) for showing how to incorporate the two things. And I think that this will definitely be a feature piece in my new room.
4. To go with this desk I came across a chair "hack" that looks really good I will go really well in the space.

I think adding a fur accent to an inexpensive plastic chair ensures a luxurious feel without having to break the bank.
Using these products and DIYs I think that my room will be a really good space giving off an air of luxury and give a polished feel I am looking for.
I'll keep you in the loop when my room is done or when I find new ideas.
