Lets Do Lunch.
OK lets do lunch!
On these series of posts I will be sharing with you the places I go to eat lunch, along the way sharing my tips and tricks to a great eating experience.
So lets start with... Yo! Sushi.
OK so when I first went to Yo! Sushi I was a complete sushi-phobe - or whatever real word there is for this. I hated the idea of eating raw fish - I now like it so there is hope for everyone (because I am a really fussy eater - or was)
What I love about this place is that it's light food, feels fresh, you can eat as much I you want and if you know what you're doing doesn't have to cost a lot. And also if your into snapping your food (like me) Yo!sushi looks great on camera. It's a win win.
I'm going to share with you my top five favourite dishes:
1. Cucumber Maki - This was the first piece of sushi I ever tried and a very strong reason why I keep returning to Yo! Sushi. For me a trip to Yo! Sushi just wouldn’t be complete without at least one plate of these! This is something that tastes really fresh and is one of the lower prices dishes. Also if you're not into cucumber they do have an avocado version too.
2. Furikake Fries - These fries are relatively new to the menu. And taste amazing. they are covered in sriracha mayo something that I had never tried before and loved. Again these are one of the lower priced dishes.
3. Miso soup - OK next if you're fancying something hot get the Miso Soup it is only I think around £2 and it comes with wait for it ... unlimited refills. I know right! So there's really only one option, you're getting the Miso Soup.
4. Crispy Salmon Skin - It isn't often that I eat raw fish, so this is a really good way to go if you're just not that into it. The Crispy Salmon Skin is a great alternitive and tastes great; especially dunked into soy sauce. But just a slight warning this sushi roll tends to break apart half way to your mouth so be prepared.
5. Popcorn Shrimp - OK the last one. This is my favourite dish in the whole of Yo! Sushi Popcorn Shrimp. The dish comes in a delightfully crispy fried coating. Mmm. Drizzled with a sweet shiro miso & chilli sauce. To die for! I am seriously drooling just thinking of it.
So be sure to give these a try if you haven't already! You won't regret it.
Check out my instagram you'll be able to get an idea about the place.
