Doing Breakfast Right.
First of all I am taking you all to London for your breakfast. And sharing with all of you the places that I go whenever I'm there.
Starting with... The Breakfast Club!
I few years ago whilst planning my trip to London I was determined to take a look at The Breakfast Club. I'd heard and seen so many things about it and needed to see what all the fuss was about. The venue was easy enough to find given the entrance is a shocking yellow. The only downside being no matter what time you go, you will have to wait in line. So be prepared with a drink, suitable shoes, and we're in England - an umbrella.
Despite that one flaw it was an incredible experience and I have continued to come here whenever I find myself in London since. And with each visit I find that it is always different; in terms of atmosphere, music, people. And every time it is a good different. The mismatched chairs and wooden tables certainly fill the fairly small space with a backdrop of a bare brick wall that runs along one side of the cafe littered in stickers, doodles and so much more. Once you are seated menus are provided leaving you groaning with breakfast options.
My personal order is usually "The all American Pancakes" which are amazing it consists of two fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, delightfully crispy bacon strips, sausages, roasted potatoes and your choice of eggs - I have scrambled.
You can't tell me that doesn't look good!
As for drinks I try something new everytime my two favourites being the "Salted Caramel Popcorn Milkshake" and the "Hot Chocolate - With marshmallows"
The milkshake is I think the best salted caramel flavour I've ever tasted; whereas with most salted caramel products the salty taste is barely there; it is all caramel. Not many people appreciate the savory and sweet combination but apparently The Breakfast Club does.
The Hot Chocolate I had when I had been waiting in line in 0° weather, I could no longer feel my nose, toes and - well anything, Hot Chocolate seemed perfect. I did order without marshmallows as I really don't like them, but it was perfect.
Overall I highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed!
